Rachel serves as the Director of New Student and Family Programs. Rachel was originally hired at UCF in March 2022 as the Assistant Director for Family Programs and Engagement, and was promoted to Associate Director of First Year Experience in March 2023. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising and Product Development with a minor in Business from Florida State University, and her Master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida. Prior to UCF, Rachel spent the past four and a half years at the University of South Florida (Tampa) where she worked with transfer students and their families in the Office of Orientation. She is eager to create world-class experiences for UCF students and their supporters and aid them in navigating the various transitions that come along with starting their UCF journey. She enjoys reading, running, going to trivia with friends, and staying up-to-date with all the latest celebrity news.
